Abstract: The focus of KCDP was to enhance Mwangi, S. Uku, J. (2021)sustainable utilization, management and conservation of the coastal environmental and natural resources including fisheries project and marine resources with the aim of sharing the accruing benefits among the citizens. The development objective (PDO) of KCDP, was enhancing revenue generation and management effectiveness of Kenya's coastal and marine resources; and the Global Environment Objective (GEO) was "strengthening conservation and sustainable use of marine and coastal biodiversity." In order to support the project objectives capacity development in the form of infrastructure was undertaken under different components of the project.
